Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
  • minimum of ten years manufacturing experience preferably in prepared foods
  • ten years leadership and supervisory experience
  • knowledge of timekeeping, policy adherence, conflict resolution
  • expertise in manufacturing operations management
  • high level of confidentiality
  • strong computer skills including MS Office
  • ability to work non-standard shifts including holidays and weekends
  • physical ability to move around manufacturing floor
  • adherence to safety policies including use of protective equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • minimum ten years' experience in manufacturing environment preferably in prepared foods
  • demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience including timekeeping and policy adherence
  • experience in directing manufacturing operations with budget and profit and loss management
  • ability to understand customer needs and product application
  • strong team building skills
  • excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • self-starter with ability to work in fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee operations and support functions including maintenance, safety, and quality for business planning
  • manage cost through approval of expenditures, overtime, budget monitoring, and variance reporting
  • oversee profit and loss to ensure alignment with company expectations
  • develop operational KPI targets and hold operations team accountable
  • create Annual Operating Plan and capital budget with justifications
  • oversee capital project management within budgets and timelines
  • partner with Quality Assurance for food safety and regulatory compliance
  • develop manufacturing reporting and analyze production issues
  • implement process optimization and reduce repeat deficiencies
  • ensure customer-centered, responsive team
  • mentor, coach, and train employees for career development
  • perform additional relevant duties as assigned
