Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- At least five years of relevant professional experience or a combination of education and experience totaling eight years
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to travel up to 10 percent of the time
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments
- Physical ability to participate in maritime activities

Job Duties
- Serve as liaison between the Board and stakeholders including pilots, shipping industry, environmental groups, and regulatory bodies
- Provide strategic guidance and policy implementation for maritime safety and efficiency
- Manage budget and oversee contracts related to Board activities
- Promote a culture of equity and inclusion within the organization
- Engage with public and legislative bodies on matters affecting maritime operations
- Lead and manage complex projects to support Board objectives
- Travel to maritime industry sites as necessary to support operational oversight
