The Director of Human Resources at the Lexington Hotel plays a critical leadership role within the establishment, overseeing all human resources functions to ensure smooth operations and a thriving workplace culture. This full-time leadership position is responsible for managing labor relations, recruitment, retention, employee communications, recognition efforts, career development, wage and hour compliance, learning and development initiatives, workers’ compensation matters, and all legal issues related to hotel employees. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- 5+ years experience in a HR leadership position
- 10+ years experience in a unionized labor environment
- Excellent communication leadership and planning skills
- Strong customer service orientation and skills
- Must be self-motivated results oriented and exhibit a can do attitude
