Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in health and safety leadership roles
- Certification or eligibility to be CLIA Laboratory Director
- Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, CDC regulations
- Strong risk management and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work full-time in a hybrid work environment
- Commitment to organizational core values and mission
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading health and safety programs in healthcare, laboratory, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with OSHA, CLIA, CDC, and other health and safety guidelines
- Experience managing risks related to disease transmission and adverse events
- Eligibility to serve as a CLIA Laboratory Director as defined by Code of Federal Regulations 493.1405
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering a culture of safety and compliance
- Ability to work in a hybrid full-time capacity during standard business hours
Job Duties
- Lead the development and implementation of health and safety programs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, CDC, and other regulatory standards
- Manage risks related to disease transmission, adverse events, and workplace safety
- Serve as Donor Alliance's CLIA Laboratory Director
- Collaborate across departments to promote a culture of safety
- Monitor and investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective actions
- Provide training and guidance on health and safety practices
