Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four years or more of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience
  • At least two years progressive management experience within the Rooms Division of a hotel
  • Prior experience with hotel pre-opening preferred
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service
  • Ability to analyze guest feedback and resolve issues creatively
  • Physical ability to support hands-on operations when needed

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
  • Four years or more of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience
  • Hotel pre-opening experience preferred
  • Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
  • At least two years progressive management experience within the Rooms Division of a hotel
  • Hotel or hospitality degree an asset
  • High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills

Job Duties

  • Lead all aspects of Front Office operations through both short- and long-term planning
  • Develop and manage budgets, labor plans, and objectives within approved guidelines
  • Proactively analyze guest feedback and resolve concerns with creativity and care
  • Oversee room inventory management and the full transportation process from pre-arrival through departure
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures to elevate efficiency, consistency, and colleague performance
  • Inspire, coach, and develop team members in alignment with Miraval service standards
  • Step in as needed to support Front Office operations hands-on
