Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year Marriott experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year prior hotel front office management experience required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Availability to work weekends and peak periods
  • Experience with service recovery
  • Proficiency with property management systems

Job Qualifications

  • Marriott experience preferred
  • FS-PMS experience highly desired
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in team building and mentoring
  • Strong organization and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage service recovery situations
  • Computer savvy with property management systems
  • Prior hotel front office management experience

Job Duties

  • Lead front office team including front desk agents, guest service agents, telephone operators, bell staff, and van drivers
  • Serve as guest service champion for the hotel
  • Balance guest interactions with behind-the-scenes planning and organization
  • Build a team through training, mentoring, coaching, and counseling
  • Handle service recovery situations with professionalism
  • Maintain strong communication both written and verbal
  • Utilize property management system skills, especially Marriott FS-PMS
  • Ensure availability during peak periods and weekends
