Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in food and beverage management
  • Experience managing multiple food and beverage outlets
  • Ability to lead and motivate large teams
  • Solid understanding of union management
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Extensive experience in food and beverage management within a large hotel environment
  • Proven success in leading banquet operations and managing unionized staff
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Passion for innovative food and beverage programming

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the food and beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation
  • Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service
  • Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff
