Job Qualifications

  • minimum five years of experience in food and beverage management

  • understanding of NOI profitability and budget management
  • knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
  • familiarity with state health department rules and liquor laws
  • proficiency in computer systems, preferably hotel information systems
  • excellent guest service skills
  • strong interpersonal skills with sensitivity and respect for individual needs

Job Duties

  • Monitor industry trends and update beverage and menu items as necessary
  • prepare the food and beverage budget and monitor department performance
  • work closely with the General Manager and report on food and beverage issues
  • coordinate loss prevention efforts, conduct monthly inventories, and analyze cost variances
  • ensure compliance with liquor laws and health sanitation regulations
  • interview and hire front-of-house food and beverage staff
  • conduct daily shift and monthly departmental meetings
  • provide ongoing guest service training and enforce SOPs and appearance standards
  • attend pre-event and post-event meetings
  • train employees to deliver exceptional fine dining experiences
  • implement employee engagement strategies
  • maintain product consistency through inspections
  • prepare and submit required reports
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
