Concord Hospitality is a leading hospitality management company known for delivering exceptional guest experiences through its diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts across North America. The company emphasizes an "Associate First" culture, investing heavily in employee training and development, spanning from interns to executives. Concord Hospitality prides itself on embodying five core cornerstones—Quality, Integrity, Community, Profitability, and FUN—which guide their operations and workplace culture. The company is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, striving to be a "Great Place to Work for All." Concord Hospitality's commitment to work-life balance and outstanding customer service has earned it a strong reputation in the hospitality industry. This role is a full-time position within Concord's dynamic team, offering competitive wages and comprehensive benefits to support the wellbeing and professional growth of its associates.
As the Food & Beverage Director at Concord Hospitality, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing all food and beverage operations within the hotel. Your responsibilities will encompass managing restaurant outlets, banquet events, and in-room dining services. You will be accountable for driving financial performance, ensuring service excellence, and cultivating a high-performing team culture that aligns with Concord's core values. Collaboration with culinary and service teams is essential to implement innovative concepts that enhance guest experiences and maintain the highest standards of quality.
In this leadership capacity, you will inspire greatness in your team by encouraging and supporting members to reach their full potential. You will be instrumental in creating and sustaining a workplace environment recognized as a Great Place to Work. Leading with integrity, transparency, respect, and professionalism, you will also show genuine care for your team and their families, underscoring Concord's values of community and support.
Key responsibilities include the development of both short-term and long-term financial and operational plans that align with the strategic goals of the hotel and Concord Hospitality. Your oversight will ensure seamless execution and service excellence across all food and beverage outlets and banquet operations. You will maintain product and service quality standards through evaluations, guest feedback analysis, and complaint investigations. Additionally, you will design and implement revenue-generating programs that offer excellent value and guest satisfaction, while empowering and training team members to consistently meet or exceed guest expectations.
Attention to detail in food presentation will be crucial as you collaborate with Sous Chefs and kitchen staff to resolve any concerns or inconsistencies. Managing group bookings and banquet events with proper service techniques will ensure flawless execution. Your leadership approach will motivate F&B associates, leveraging effective leadership practices and performance management. Recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training qualified team members will fall under your purview to uphold service and performance standards.
Strategic business decision-making will be informed by utilizing reports, performance data, and operational insights. Compliance with Concord and brand standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service protocols will be enforced diligently. Furthermore, you will oversee marketing initiatives promoting F&B outlets and seasonal offerings, continually developing innovative programming to maintain competitiveness in the local market. Building relationships within the local community will help enhance public relations and strengthen brand presence, contributing to the hotel's success and community engagement.
