Job Description
Firefly is a modern private club located in the greater Nashville area, founded with the vision of fostering connection, experience, and community among its members. As a thoughtfully designed club community, Firefly offers a refined yet approachable environment that seamlessly integrates elevated hospitality, outdoor recreation, wellness, and social engagement. Inspired by its natural surroundings and the spirit of modern Southern living, Firefly delivers a unique lifestyle experience that balances tradition with innovation. The club is currently undergoing an exciting phase of development, with significant planned amenity expansions over the coming years, particularly in its food and beverage operations, which serve as a central pillar of the member experience. The club is committed to cultivating hospitality programs that are high quality, well-structured, and sustainable, all while maintaining a warm, member-first culture.
The role of Food and Beverage Director at Firefly is a senior leadership position responsible for the strategic development, operational execution, and long-term growth of all food and beverage operations at the club. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Food and Beverage Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the club’s hospitality vision, establishing foundational systems and standards, and scaling operations as new amenities and programs are introduced. This position is ideally suited for a hospitality leader who thrives in startup or growth-stage environments and who understands how to build organizational structure without compromising service quality and culture. The Director will be responsible for creating the frameworks, developing teams, and implementing processes that ensure exceptional member experiences today while preparing for future expansion. While prior startup experience is beneficial, the role primarily requires strong leadership abilities, adaptability, and a passion for growing within an evolving organization.
The Food and Beverage Director will partner closely with culinary leadership and other club executives to design menus, develop operational systems, and oversee all aspects of food and beverage offerings including member events, social programming, and private functions. The Director will also have financial management responsibilities, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting. A significant part of the role involves recruiting, training, and retaining a talented food and beverage team that embodies the club’s service culture and values. Firefly offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, combined with a comprehensive benefits program. This position offers a unique opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to grow alongside a dynamic and ambitious private club at an exciting time in its evolution.
