The Director of Events plays a pivotal role in our hotel's operations by overseeing all facets of the Events and Banquet Departments. This leadership position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, ensuring they not only meet but exceed client and guest expectations. The individual in this role will be instrumental in driving sales revenue through strategic business development and fostering strong client relationships. Responsible for maintaining high service standards, the Director of Events will lead a team of dedicated event professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to achieve departmental goals. This role demands a proactive and dynamic leader who can create effective action plans to meet financial objectives, motivate staff, and maintain a positive and productive work environment. Additionally, the Director of Events will act as the hotel's ambassador to the local industry, representing the venue at trade events and networking opportunities to promote its exceptional event spaces and services.

The ideal candidate will bring over five years of experience in event management within upscale venues or 4-star hotels, demonstrating a proven track record of managing successful events and achieving ambitious sales and service targets. A background in hospitality or a related field is preferred, and proficiency in Japanese is considered an asset, reflecting the diverse clientele the hotel serves. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $122,000, supplemented by an incentive program designed to reward outstanding performance.
