This position also demands strong sales acumen to develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, alongside proficient computer skills to handle complex booking and administrative tasks. The Director must be able to understand client needs deeply and tailor events to meet these expectations with creativity, including the development of special themes and menus. Strong problem-solving abilities, patience, diplomacy, and a customer-focused approach are essential to effectively manage diverse client interactions and resolve any conflicts.

The role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is expected to meet the demands of this vibrant and busy hospitality environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional passionate about event management and hospitality to contribute to the continued success of a landmark hotel property while growing their career within a respected and established hospitality management company.
