Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field or equivalent experience
  • extensive experience in catering and conference services management preferably in a convention hotel
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
  • proven sales and business development acumen
  • detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed
  • proficiency in event planning software and technology

Job Duties

  • lead and inspire a catering and conference services team
  • build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and planners
  • plan and execute large-scale events including menus, décor, room setups, and VIP services
  • collaborate with operations and culinary teams for seamless event execution
  • drive catering sales, revenue, and repeat business
  • manage budgets and financial performance
  • recruit, develop, and mentor team members
  • set clear goals and foster team accountability
  • coach and motivate staff to enhance client engagement and sales
  • address employee issues in compliance with policies and laws
  • promote integrity, professionalism, and a guest-centric culture
