Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field or equivalent experience
- extensive experience in catering and conference services management preferably in a convention hotel
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- proven sales and business development acumen
- detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed
- proficiency in event planning software and technology

Job Duties
- lead and inspire a catering and conference services team
- build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and planners
- plan and execute large-scale events including menus, décor, room setups, and VIP services
- collaborate with operations and culinary teams for seamless event execution
- drive catering sales, revenue, and repeat business
- manage budgets and financial performance
- recruit, develop, and mentor team members
- set clear goals and foster team accountability
- coach and motivate staff to enhance client engagement and sales
- address employee issues in compliance with policies and laws
- promote integrity, professionalism, and a guest-centric culture
