Known for blending technology, entertainment, and hospitality, Topgolf has established itself as a leader in the event and recreational spaces. With multiple venues across the country, the company provides guests with unique experiences that combine golfing games, delicious food and beverages, and live entertainment. Topgolf focuses deeply on community, inclusivity, and delivering excellence through its core values: Fun, One Team, Excellence, Edgy Spirit, and Caring.

The Director of Sales at Topgolf plays a critical leadership role in guiding the sales team to deliver outstanding event planning and execution experiences. This full-time position comes with a competitive annual base salary of $65,000, complemented by an uncapped commission structure, bonuses, merit plans, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401K with company match and a lucrative paid time off package. The Director of Sales is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the sales team, building and developing a high-performing team, and ensuring that all guest interactions during the event planning process exceed expectations.

This role requires a leader who is passionate about hospitality, event sales, and guest satisfaction. The Director of Sales leads by example, focusing on motivating the sales team, establishing efficient processes, and driving revenue growth through effective sales campaigns and market analysis. A significant aspect of the role involves collaborating with the National Director of Sales and Events and the Corporate Marketing Team to align on company-wide strategies and goals. The Director must possess strong communication skills and demonstrate the ability to forecast revenues, assess performance metrics, and continually refine sales approaches to meet or surpass sales targets.

Moreover, the Director of Sales is instrumental in fostering a positive work environment where team members are engaged, developed, and recognized for their contributions. They manage schedules, oversee associate development, and create a supportive atmosphere that aligns with Topgolf's core values. The position also includes direct interaction with guests during events to ensure the quality of their experience reflects Topgolf's high standards.

Candidates should ideally have over seven years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurant, or entertainment settings, with leadership experience strongly preferred. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has relevant work history. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, self-aware, and exhibits high integrity while being proficient in relevant sales software such as Excel, Word, and Delphi. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated sales leader to join a dynamic company committed to diversity, inclusion, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
