Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in banquet management or a related hospitality role
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to train and mentor staff
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards

  • Previous experience in managing large events or teams

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional guest service to all customers
  • Lead the team with motivation and direction and assure that all standards of quality are in place
  • Greet guests and be responsible for accommodating all guests' needs at the attendance of an event
  • Participate in good communication with guests with questions regarding the menu
  • Deliver food and beverages from staging areas to guests as needed to assist the team
  • Assist other servers during peak periods in delivering food and guest requests
  • Train others on serving plated and reception style meal services (training provided)
  • Anticipate guests' needs and monitor the guests' dining experience to ensure satisfaction with food and service
  • Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
  • Oversee setup, execution, and clean-up for an event
  • Perform side work to prepare for upcoming events
  • Assure all service areas are always kept clean and safe
