Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing or related area
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
- 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing or related area
- Ability to work full time on site
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
- Ability to manage budgets and profitability
- Experience with team coordination and conflict resolution
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in event management or related area
- or 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with 2 years experience
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Knowledge of event technology and banquet operations
- Experience in financial and budget management
- Ability to maintain strong client and vendor relationships
Job Duties
- Manage event service, banquet and event technology operations and staff on a daily basis
- Develop and implement business plans and long term strategies for event operations
- Oversee execution of event logistics for all events
- Ensure function space and equipment are maintained according to standards
- Lead event management and operations meetings
- Coordinate with culinary and human resources departments to ensure compliance
- Manage staffing levels and review scheduled events to troubleshoot conflicts
