The Director of Admissions at Fusion Academy plays a pivotal role in exceeding enrollment and revenue goals by efficiently managing admissions inquiries, cultivating professional referrals, engaging in community outreach, and orchestrating event planning activities. As the central figure in the admissions process, the Director of Admissions is responsible for proactively managing digital leads and inquiries, nurturing prospective families through each stage of the admissions journey. By developing and implementing outreach strategies, this position builds and sustains professional partnerships and referral networks critical to the school’s growth. The role also includes a strong emphasis on community engagement through planning and overseeing campus and public events that strengthen Fusion’s presence and outreach efforts.
Collaboration is a core component of this role, requiring coordination with regional and national sales and support teams to optimize enrollment targets and operational effectiveness. Utilizing data analysis and forecasting techniques, the Director of Admissions tracks key metrics, identifies trends, and uncovers opportunities for enhancing performance. This data-driven approach supports strategic decision-making, allowing for continuous improvement and adaptation in a competitive educational market.
The Director also manages the marketing budget in conjunction with the marketing department, ensuring cohesive communication strategies align with admissions objectives. Proficiency in CRM software contributes to maintaining accurate records and monitoring ongoing engagement with prospective families and community partners.
In addition to operational responsibilities, this position serves as a strategic leader within the campus leadership team, supporting broader organizational initiatives and troubleshooting emergent challenges. The role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the director to build rapport with diverse audiences and effectively represent Fusion Academy’s unique value proposition. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range from $67,000 to $77,000 annually, coupled with an annual bonus opportunity of up to 20% of the base salary, dependent on enrollment performance and campus outcomes. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required preferably in education, marketing, communications, business, or related field
- previous experience in admissions, outreach, consultative sales, business development, and event planning
- experience in building and maintaining professional referral networks
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proficient in data analysis and reporting
- strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- able to navigate challenges professionally while maintaining a strategic and solutions-oriented approach
- experience with CRM systems is helpful but not required

Job Duties
- Manage and respond promptly to digital leads, inquiries, and applications from prospective families and nurture them through the admissions process
