Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of relevant operational, management, finance, or strategic experience
  • 5 years of leadership experience with 2 years direct people leadership
  • proactive and self-motivated
  • strong computer and analytical skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication
  • ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • minimum age of 18
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • at least 8 years of relevant experience in operations, management, finance, or strategy
  • minimum 5 years of leadership experience including 2 years of direct people management
  • proactive and self-motivated
  • strong computer and analytical skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • minimum age of 18
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • authorization to work in the U.S.
  • preferred experience in aviation operations and contract labor

Job Duties

  • Guide, direct, and partner with crew planning and crew scheduling teams
  • collaborate with inflight leadership and labor relations
  • oversee inflight operations budget, forecast, payroll, benefits, and leave administration
  • manage emergency preparedness and system oversight with Jeppesen
  • ensure compliance with FAA regulations and Association of Flight Attendants contract
  • manage communications with flight attendants, union, and inflight leaders
  • support operational objectives emphasizing on-time performance, customer service, sick leave administration, and safety
  • optimize resource efficiency and maintain safe operations
  • lead re-engineering of business processes to streamline operations
  • plan and optimize inflight schedules for productivity and budget adherence
  • set clear expectations for scheduling team to maximize resources and provide supportive experience
  • update management on bids, staffing, scheduling changes, and performance
  • participate in inflight selection and hiring
  • partner with union leadership for problem resolution and communication
  • foster culture of support, trust, and accountability
  • maintain knowledge of operations procedures, safety, compliance, FAA, and contractual requirements
  • ensure timely and accurate inflight payroll
  • align flight operations with airport services, base operations, and system operations control
  • assess impact of staffing, scheduling constraints, budget, productivity, and work rules
  • develop people through performance management and feedback
  • promote engagement and accountability
  • cultivate high-performance culture through coaching and mentoring
  • identify and provide career development opportunities
