Job Description
Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation (YSMN) is a respected and prominent tribal enterprise in the Inland Empire, known for its commitment to economic growth and community development. As one of the largest private employers in the region, San Manuel operates a diverse portfolio that includes luxury resorts, hospitality venues, and gaming establishments with a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences. The organization fosters a dynamic environment where innovation, collaboration, and cultural respect are integral to its business approach. Employees at San Manuel benefit from a supportive workplace culture dedicated to their growth, well-being, and long-term career success.
The Director of Hospitality Revenue Management is a strategic leadership role within the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation’s hospitality division. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations and Hospitality Asset Management, the Director is responsible for driving the revenue strategy across a multi-property portfolio encompassing luxury branded and independent resorts. The role demands a detailed focus on optimizing revenue streams from all hospitality business units including room inventory, suites, food and beverage, spa services, retail outlets, golf, entertainment-adjacent revenue, and various ancillary resort verticals.
This position is pivotal in ensuring that all hospitality properties maximally achieve profit and revenue goals through comprehensive demand forecasting, pricing strategy development, inventory optimization, and digital distribution management. The Director must work closely with key internal stakeholders, including the Office of the Chief Gaming Officer, sales, marketing, and operations teams, to align commercial strategies with ownership objectives and long-term asset value enhancement.
Success in this role requires a deep understanding of industry-leading revenue management systems, advanced analytical capabilities, and expertise in channel distribution strategies. The Director translates complex market data and performance analytics into actionable strategies that influence both commercial and operational teams to implement and sustain revenue growth. Moreover, the Director leads the creation and refinement of revenue management standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring consistent, accurate performance reporting and strategic market alignment.
Additional responsibilities include leading enterprise-level budgeting and forecasting efforts, providing insightful briefings to ownership on market trends and performance segmentation, and conducting competitive benchmarking to continually assess and improve revenue penetration across the portfolio. Supervisory duties include hiring, training, performance evaluation, and succession planning to cultivate a high-performing revenue management team.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills paired with a proven track record of success in managing multi-property revenue strategies within luxury or resort environments. They will demonstrate expertise in leveraging major RMS, CRS, PMS, and business intelligence tools such as IDeaS, Duetto, Opera, SynXis, Tableau, and Power BI. The ability to drive a revenue-focused culture, influence senior stakeholders, and present complex data clearly are essential traits for this role.
Working conditions involve a fast-paced, high-demand office environment with regular travel between properties and attendance at industry events. Physical requirements are typical of a sedentary role but also include occasional travel and physical mobility. This full-time leadership opportunity promises a competitive salary and the chance to contribute to one of the Inland Empire’s most respected tribal hospitality enterprises. Join San Manuel and play a critical role in maximizing portfolio value through innovative revenue management strategies.
