Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of audio visual experience
  • Minimum 3 years of operations supervisory or management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service or hospitality experience
  • Knowledge of live show audio visual equipment
  • Ops 200 and Leadership 200 certifications
  • Proficiency in computer hardware and software including Microsoft Office and the Internet
  • Effective leadership skills focused on customer satisfaction and team development
  • Valid driver's license if operating company vehicles

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of operations supervisory or management experience
  • 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in a live show environment
  • Ops 200 and Leadership 200 certification
  • Proficiency with computer hardware and software including Microsoft Office and Internet
  • Effective leadership abilities with a customer satisfaction and people development focus
  • Valid driver's license for those operating company vehicles

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all organizational levels and provide outstanding customer service focusing on retention
  • Service high profile and visibility events and act as a point of escalation
  • Identify key issues and decision makers influencing contract renewal and leverage internal resources for planning
  • Partner with Venue Sales Leadership on sales strategies
  • Create and participate in business review presentations
  • Manage efficient and profitable operations focusing on revenue maximization and cost control
  • Ensure event profitability through appropriate staffing
  • Achieve financial goals by managing labor, equipment, and costs
  • Direct operations team to manage daily floor operations including scheduling and equipment setup
  • Confirm adherence to inventory control and safety standards
  • Provide technical support and ensure staff understands technical aspects
  • Hold sales team accountable for pipeline health and accurate CRM updates
  • Lead sales forecasting and present performance reports to senior management
  • Cultivate and maintain customer and venue relationships to deliver world-class service
  • Lead team to exceed customer expectations and maintain professional image
  • Promote a culture of high performance, accountability, continuous improvement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Manage team performance, staffing, coaching, training, and union labor dynamics
