Job Description
The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour Miami is a prestigious luxury hotel situated in Bal Harbour, Florida, renowned for providing world-class hospitality and exceptional service to its discerning clientele. As part of Marriott International, a global leader in the hospitality industry, this flagship property stands as a beacon of elegance, comfort, and superior guest experiences. With over 100 award-winning properties worldwide, Marriott International fosters a vibrant culture that values diversity, inclusivity, and the unique backgrounds of its associates. The Ritz-Carlton brand is synonymous with luxury and excellence, setting the standard for rare and special luxury service around the globe. The company is committed to equal opportunity employment, welcoming all qualified individuals, and fostering a work environment where everyone can thrive and grow professionally.
This full-time management position based at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour Miami involves leading the property’s club membership sales efforts. The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $97,000 to $132,000 with eligibility for bonus compensation. As the head of the Club Membership program, you will be responsible for developing, facilitating, and coordinating all membership sales activities to maximize revenue and enhance guest and associate satisfaction. This leadership role requires the provision of daily guidance to on-property membership sales associates, ensuring that sales objectives are met while maintaining a keen focus on delivering exemplary customer service. You will manage and maintain an extensive database of members, prospective members, companies, and contacts, playing a critical role in driving club membership growth and achieving personal and organizational sales goals.
The position demands a proactive and strategic mindset to work collaboratively with off-property sales channels, ensuring that sales efforts are complementarily aligned and non-duplicative. Developing and nurturing relationships within the community, managing key internal and external stakeholder connections, and participating actively in sales calls are core components of this role. You will lead by example, setting and achieving personal sales targets while supporting the operational execution of business activities, including proposal generation, contract writing, and customer correspondence.
A deep understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, economic factors, and customer preferences is essential to identify new business opportunities and close the best possible sales to meet location-specific revenue goals. Exceptional leadership in guest hospitality and customer service is paramount, as you will be the face of The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards, promoting the company’s service values and relationship strategy to build customer loyalty and satisfaction. You will be responsible not only for achieving business outcomes but also for empowering your team to deliver service excellence consistently.
Human resource management is another vital element of this role. You will interview and hire management and hourly employees, design and implement orientation and training programs, and utilize on-the-job training tools to develop your team. This comprehensive leadership role at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour Miami offers the opportunity to be part of an esteemed global brand, contributing to an environment where creativity, thoughtfulness, and compassion pave the way for professional and personal success. Join a team that prides itself on delivering luxury hospitality experiences that guests remember long after their stay, and grow your career with Marriott International, where you can be your best, belong, and begin your purpose in the vibrant world of elite hospitality.
