Direct Support Life Skills Trainer

Meticulous record-keeping is essential, including timely documentation of progress, billing, and any incidents while respecting confidentiality and the rights of those being served.

Healthcare support forms a significant portion of the responsibilities, including accompanying individuals to medical appointments, administering medications when assigned, monitoring general health, and safely utilizing medical supplies and equipment. The employee also ensures a safe and clean living and activity environment through housekeeping and minor maintenance tasks.

Employees will be expected to comply with safety protocols, report injuries or hazards, and participate actively in safety drills. This role is physically demanding involving frequent lifting and moving of heavy objects, and may require travel and the use of a personal cell phone for business purposes, with expenses compensated by a stipend.
