Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Licensed as an Aircraft Dispatcher under federal guidelines
  • Minimum age of 23 years to meet dispatch certification requirements
  • U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to work from Dallas, TX headquarters during business hours
  • Ability to meet company attendance and appearance standards
  • Ability to perform duties in a limited space workstation for extended periods
  • Effective communication in English
  • Ability to use computers and office productivity tools
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours as needed
  • Meet all regulatory criteria for Flight Deck Jump Seat access
  • Continuous enrollment in Rap Back program

Job Qualifications

  • Licensed as an Aircraft Dispatcher under federal guidelines
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams
  • Advanced business acumen in people leadership and workforce management
  • Specialized knowledge in dispatch operations
  • Knowledge of FAA and DOT regulations
  • Experience interacting with government agencies
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with internal departments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to motivate self and deliver results

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership oversight and accountability for dispatch
  • Create and articulate strategic vision for dispatch within NOC goals
  • Audit employee job performance to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Attend government and industry meetings to develop new processes
  • Communicate changes in policy to dispatchers via bulletins
  • Provide direction of flight dispatch office to ensure efficient flight movements
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with dispatch guidelines and regulations
  • Cultivate and promote high-performance organizational culture
  • Coach, mentor, and manage performance of direct reports
  • Navigate workforce nuances covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Meet physical requirements of the job
  • Perform other duties as directed by leadership
