Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or culinary diploma
  • One to five years of relevant cooking experience
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Capacity to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • High School graduate or culinary diploma required
  • One to five years of minimum previous experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and quality
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest and most efficient level of hospitality service to the hotel guests
  • Work in the designated station as set by Executive Chef
  • Operate kitchen equipment like braising pan, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
  • Produce quality product in a timely and efficient manner for the guests or staff
  • Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist
  • Have general knowledge of cooking temperatures, making soups and sauces, preparing entrees, and vegetable preparation
  • Replenish service lines as needed and restock and prepare the workstation for the next shift
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, workstations, tables, tools, knives, and other equipment
