Job Requirements
- High school graduate or culinary diploma
- One to five years of relevant cooking experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Capacity to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- High School graduate or culinary diploma required
- One to five years of minimum previous experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and quality
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Job Duties
- Provide the highest and most efficient level of hospitality service to the hotel guests
- Work in the designated station as set by Executive Chef
- Operate kitchen equipment like braising pan, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- Produce quality product in a timely and efficient manner for the guests or staff
- Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist
- Have general knowledge of cooking temperatures, making soups and sauces, preparing entrees, and vegetable preparation
- Replenish service lines as needed and restock and prepare the workstation for the next shift
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area, workstations, tables, tools, knives, and other equipment
