The Dining Worker/Server role at American Dining Creations based in Ferguson, Missouri, is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of guest services and food preparation. This position focuses on delivering excellent customer service by greeting guests swiftly and serving menu items efficiently from a designated station or serving line. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 50lbs, standing, walking, and climbing stairs for extended periods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations strictly
  • Ability to operate POS systems

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years prior experience in a customer service, food service, or retail position preferred
  • Able to work well with others as well as excel independently
  • Time management skills and task focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, communicate effectively
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs, bend, climb stairs, stand, and walk for entire scheduled shift

Job Duties

  • Follow established recipes to prepare and serve menu items for a food station
  • Greet and serve guests in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure correct serving temperatures and adequate portion control, temperature logs, and dates
  • Provide guests with information regarding food ingredients, availability, and pricing
  • Operate POS and accept payment for food and beverage purchases
  • Assist with labels and packaging food for take-out menus and mobile ordering
  • Escalate customer concerns and complaints to management
  • Clean, organize, and maintain kitchen, equipment, utensils, and general areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned
