Job Description

The Arcadia Family of Companies is a well-established local non-profit organization dedicated to providing exceptional senior living experiences. Known for its gracious, compassionate, and dynamic environment, Arcadia caters to the spiritual, physical, and social needs of every resident, client, and member it serves. The organization encompasses multiple entities, including Arcadia, 15 Craigside, Arcadia Adult Day Care and Day Health Center, Arcadia Home Health and Home Care Services, Arcadia at Home, and Hale Ola Kino by Arcadia. Each entity plays a vital role in ensuring that the highest standards of care and hospitality are maintained consistently across all services offered. The organization's culture is deeply rooted in kindness, compassion, integrity, and respect, crafting a community where every individual is valued and supported.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Dining Services Manager to lead, inspire, and elevate the dining experience for our residents. This full-time role offers an annual salary range of $67,000 to $85,904 and requires availability Monday through Friday, with some weekends and holidays based on operational needs. The typical shift runs from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with occasional evening shifts possible. The Dining Services Manager will play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and enhancing the front-of-the-house dining environment across various settings, including the Dining Room, Health Care Center, Employee Lounge, and private functions.

This leadership position is more than just managing daily operations; it's about building and nurturing a high-performing team passionate about delivering excellent service grounded in the Arcadia Family’s values. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising waitstaff, coordinating schedules, participating actively in hiring and training processes, and fostering ongoing professional development through coaching and performance management. Collaboration is key, as this role partners closely with the Executive Chef, Director of Dining Services, HR department, and the Resident Food/Dining Committee to ensure resident satisfaction and operational excellence.

The Dining Services Manager will also act as a liaison between residents and the culinary team, offering continuous feedback on food quality, presentation, taste, and variety, while ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations. This role demands a hands-on approach, requiring proficiency with point-of-sale software and the ability to train staff on its usage. Networking within the food and beverage industry to stay updated on trends and innovations is also encouraged to drive continuous improvement in service standards.

Joining Arcadia means becoming part of a remarkable team committed to making a positive difference in the lives of seniors. Employees are the heart of the organization, and Arcadia fosters an environment rich in collaboration, open communication, compassion, and integrity. The organization provides comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; a generous 403(b) retirement plan with employer contributions; free employee meals; paid time off including birthday holidays; sick leave; and professional development opportunities such as education assistance and access to online training courses. This supportive work environment and commitment to excellence create a unique opportunity for the right candidate to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact on the community.

If you are a hospitality professional eager to lead with creativity and dedication and want to shape a dining experience that matters, we invite you to apply for the Dining Services Manager role at Arcadia Family of Companies. Together, we can create dining moments that residents will cherish and build a team that shares a passion for service excellence.
