- 2+ years of supervisory experience in dining services
- Knowledge of food safety standards

- Ability to lift 40-50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications

- Formal culinary or dietary training preferred
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in dining services, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality
- Knowledge of food safety standards, budgeting, and cost control
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to lift 40-50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets and senior living dietary requirements
- Experience planning menus and coordinating special events
Job Duties
- Recruit, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate dining services staff
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to build a high-performing team
- Conduct regular team huddles to communicate updates, reinforce service standards, and address challenges
- Promote employee engagement, teamwork, and retention by recognizing performance and supporting professional development
- Ensure staffing levels are maintained to meet service needs and regulatory requirements
- Model professionalism, respect, and core values in all interactions
- Oversee all aspects of daily meal preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure quality, portion control, and consistency
- Assist hands-on in the kitchen as needed, including prepping, cooking, plating, and expediting meals during peak times
