Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in food service or dining management
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for seniors
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Willingness to act as lead Chef when necessary

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service management or culinary leadership
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Experience in senior living or healthcare dining services preferred
  • Culinary certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the Dining Services Department
  • Prepare food items and serve food to residents within scheduled time frame
  • Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions
  • Act as lead Chef up to 3 days per week
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
  • Manage dining services staff and coordinate schedules
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
