Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in food service or dining management
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for seniors
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Willingness to act as lead Chef when necessary
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service management or culinary leadership
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Experience in senior living or healthcare dining services preferred
- Culinary certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the Dining Services Department
- Prepare food items and serve food to residents within scheduled time frame
- Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions
- Act as lead Chef up to 3 days per week
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
- Manage dining services staff and coordinate schedules
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
