We are currently seeking a full-time Dining Services Cook to join our vibrant team. This role is integral to ensuring that our dining experiences meet the high standards expected at our community. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and plating meals with precision and care, fulfilling a la carte orders accurately, and maintaining knowledge about daily menus and portion control. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for cooking and hospitality, as well as creativity in recipe execution. Experience with food preparation, short order cooking, and an understanding of upscale dining recipes are highly valued. In addition to culinary duties, the Dining Services Cook will assist the sous chef and executive chef with inventory management and ordering, contributing to the smooth operation of food service areas. The role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions fluently in English, and a flexible work schedule with the availability to work a minimum of five shifts per week. On-site training is provided to help integrate new team members effectively into the community culture and operational practices. Job Requirements

  • Completion of high school education or above preferred
  • cooking experience required
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • ability to function as a team member
  • availability to work a minimum of five shifts per week
  • flexibility to work different days and shifts
  • passing a criminal background check and drug screening
  • verification of employment and credentials

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Fulfilling a la carte orders for dining room service
  • sees that all orders are plated accurately
  • has knowledge of the daily menu and portion control
  • works closely with management regarding customer concerns
  • performs food prep and short order cooking
  • follows basic food recipes
  • assists the sous chef and executive chef with inventory and ordering
  • sets up and breaks down food service areas post meal
