The Dining Services Chef role at Vintage Gardens is vital to promoting resident health and satisfaction by delivering nutritious and enjoyable meals. This position emphasizes not only culinary skill but also customer service excellence and adherence to high cleanliness and safety standards. As the Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient meal service, reporting and addressing any food service issues, and observing changes in resident preferences or needs to ensure personalized care. Your role contributes directly to the overall dining experience and supports the community’s mission to offer an outstanding quality of life. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one to two years of experience in a similar position preferred
  • ability to provide exceptional customer service and care to senior residents
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to observe and report changes in resident status and needs
  • adherence to local and state safety and work regulations

Job Duties

  • Provide healthy food for residents

  • observe all work, safety, and administrative rules, including local and state requirements
