This community prioritizes maintaining high medical integrity while fostering a collaborative team spirit among staff members. Additionally, Hartsfield Village offers a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents and their visitors, reinforcing its dedication to quality of life and compassionate care.
The Dining Server position at Hartsfield Village is a vital role within the dietary services team. This part-time role includes two possible shifts—7:30 am to 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, including weekends and holidays—offering flexibility while ensuring residents enjoy exceptional dining experiences every day. The Dining Server will be responsible for serving residents professionally and promptly in the dining room while maintaining a cheerful and helpful demeanor. This position demands a strong understanding of menu selections, proper service steps, and stringent cleanliness standards in all service areas, including the maintenance of refrigerators, counters, shelves, racks, and trays. The Dining Server will also ensure service areas are fully stocked with items like juices, butter, creamers, and condiments. Additionally, this role involves pre-service setup and post-service cleanup duties, such as setting and bussing tables, to maintain an organized and pleasant environment for dining.
By contributing to the cleanliness, comfort, and effective communication in the dining areas, the Dining Server promotes a positive atmosphere that significantly enhances the overall resident experience. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for customer service, those looking to grow their skills in a caring community environment, and team players eager to make a meaningful impact through hospitality and support. Hartsfield Village emphasizes professional development, respect for its residents, and a strong work ethic, making this position both rewarding and essential to the community's high standards of care.
The benefits package for the Dining Server role includes Paid Time Off (PTO), comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription benefits with low deductibles and co-pays, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Supplemental Insurance, a Retirement Plan with employer matching through a 401(k), an Employee Wellness Program, Tuition Reimbursement, and additional valuable benefits that support employee wellbeing and growth. Although this is a part-time, non-benefit eligible shift, the overall environment and company culture make Hartsfield Village an excellent place to work for those passionate about service excellence and quality senior care.
