Job Description

Silverstone Living is a reputable non-profit organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to its community members through several affiliated communities, including Hunt Community, The Huntington at Nashua, At Home by Hunt, and the Webster organization. With a strong commitment to creating a positive environment for residents, Silverstone Living fosters a culture of respect, inclusiveness, and compassion. The organization values its employees and strives to maintain a workplace where teamwork and community spirit thrive. As an equal opportunity employer, Silverstone Living welcomes applicants of diverse backgrounds and adheres to fair hiring practices without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics.

We are currently seeking Servers to join our dedicated team. This role offers flexible hours and days, making it ideal for individuals balancing work with other commitments such as school, sports, or extracurricular activities. Whether you prefer to work after school, in the afternoons, or during evenings, we can accommodate your schedule to fit your needs. Joining our team means becoming part of a friendly and fun group that enjoys interacting with our caring residents, helping to create a warm and welcoming dining experience.

The Server position focuses on delivering excellent dining service to residents and their guests. Responsibilities include following established service styles and procedures consistently, ensuring all guests receive attentive and courteous service. Servers are expected to help maintain cleanliness by clearing dishes and bussing tables, resetting for the next guests, and ensuring the dining area remains neat and inviting. The role also requires adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines to promote a healthy environment.

Additional duties involve participating in assigned side jobs regularly, assisting in other dining areas when needed, and complying with community policies and standards to maintain a professional workplace. Safety in the working environment is paramount, and staff participate in ongoing training, including annual in-service sessions on body mechanics, fire safety, and hazard communication. The ability to work well under pressure, maintain a positive attitude, and cooperate with coworkers and management is essential for success in this role.

In return, Silverstone Living offers competitive hourly pay with paid meal breaks and complimentary meals for dining service staff. Employees also benefit from a scholarship and education assistance program, employee recognition initiatives, and an employee assistance program that supports overall well-being. This Server position is an excellent opportunity for individuals aged 15 and older looking to gain work experience in a supportive, community-focused environment while contributing to the comfort and happiness of residents. Whether you are seeking part-time employment or flexible scheduling, Silverstone Living provides a fulfilling workplace where you can grow and enjoy being part of a caring team.
