The part-time Server role at Cogir Senior Living is a vital position within the community's restaurant setting. This position focuses on delivering remarkable dining experiences to senior residents by offering friendly, professional, and efficient service during meals and special events. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler Card is a plus
- 6-12 months experience in serving, hospitality, or customer service is preferred
- Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience and professionalism
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere
- Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly
- Ensure meals are served according to residents' dietary requirements and preferences, including portion sizes and special requests
- Ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all residents, serving food and beverages with a smile
- Prepare the dining room before each meal by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware
- Clear tables promptly after meals, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Reset tables for the next meal service
- Communicate resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of food and beverages
- Ensure compliance with local health department regulations and Cogir senior living standards
