Job Description

Invited is a premier company in the hospitality and service industry, known for its commitment to building lasting relationships and enriching the lives of its members, guests, and employees. Founded in 1957, Invited has grown to become the largest owner and operator of private clubs nationwide, managing over 130 prestigious country clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs. Each club under the Invited umbrella offers first-class amenities such as championship golf courses, modern workspaces, handcrafted cuisine, resort-style pools, state-of-the-art racquet facilities, and fully equipped fitness centers. This expansive network provides employees with a unique opportunity to work in vibrant, dynamic environments that value service excellence and community engagement.

As a Server 1 at Invited, you will be a vital part of delivering an exceptional food and beverage experience to our members and guests. Your role is centered around consistently applying Invited's signature 3-steps of service: warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells. By ensuring that every interaction meets our high service standards, you help foster member satisfaction and retention, contributing directly to the club's overall success. This is a non-lead role that requires close collaboration with fellow team members to maintain a seamless and welcoming dining atmosphere. You will support the daily operations of the dining area, assist with service duties as assigned, and uphold the cleanliness and organization standards that define an Invited club.

Working under the guidance of the F&B Director, Banquet Manager, or Restaurant Manager, the Server 1 role demands attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality. You will become familiar with the a la carte menu, including daily features and specials, enabling you to provide knowledgeable recommendations and service. Your ability to greet members by name and provide personalized service embodies the welcoming spirit that Invited cherishes. Additionally, you will be responsible for addressing member and guest concerns promptly through effective service recovery techniques, ensuring each visit ends on a positive note.

Invited values teamwork and flexibility. Given the dynamic nature of the club environment, you are expected to proactively assist peers and take on additional responsibilities to support overall operations. Maintaining professionalism, adhering to club policies, and practicing safe work habits are fundamental expectations. The company also encourages ongoing personal and professional development and requires employees to maintain any relevant certifications to perform their role effectively. Attendance for scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential to meet service demands.

Invited offers a competitive total rewards package. While not all positions are full-time, full-time employees enjoy comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off. Compensation is based on skills, experience, education, and location. The environment at Invited is inclusive, diverse, and focused on fostering a strong sense of community both among team members and with the club members they serve. Joining Invited means being part of a proud legacy of hospitality excellence and ongoing commitment to enriching the club experience.
