Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent education, training, and experience
  • Minimum of one year host/hostess or lead server experience in a fine restaurant, club, hotel, or senior living community
  • Ability to lead and train serving staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of cleanliness, sanitation, and food quality standards
  • Ability to maintain operational and staffing needs within budget
  • Commitment to senior care and hospitality

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist with overall operation, coordination, appearance, and maintenance of dining room and serving staff to ensure positive customer experiences
  • Provide leadership, development, training, counseling, scheduling, and oversight of all serving staff
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization according to community standards
  • Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards at all times
  • Ensure dining room is appropriately staffed, operational, and stocked
  • Exhibit and enforce standards of serving speed, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Train servers in customer service, serving techniques, table setting, and workstation maintenance
  • Assist with server schedule preparation according to operational needs and budget compliance
