Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a fast-growing, family-owned company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for seniors across more than 60 communities nationwide. With a focus on creating resort-style environments, RLC emphasizes a supportive and servant-hearted culture grounded in core values such as Respect, Honesty, Kindness and Compassion, and Service Excellence. At RLC, working with seniors is not just a job but a meaningful calling that contributes toward making a positive impact on the lives of residents every day. The company's mission revolves around four essential goals that guide its success: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. This commitment helps ensure that residents receive high-quality care and hospitality in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
As a Dining Room Supervisor at Resort Lifestyle Communities, you will be an integral part of the community leadership team, directly influencing the overall culture, daily operations, and resident satisfaction. Your role will encompass being an active lead server during meal periods, ensuring that every dining experience provided to residents and guests goes beyond just offering food on a plate — it becomes a moment of meaningful connection. You will lead the Server team by hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching, while also supporting their development and scheduling needs. Maintenance of cleanliness, organization, and operational systems in the dining room, Chef’s Pantry, and Bistro will also fall under your remit to uphold high standards according to RLC's operational guidelines.
In addition, you will monitor dining service quality closely to guarantee resident and guest satisfaction, welcome new residents as part of the orientation process, and ensure prompt retrieval of room service trays. Your involvement extends to participating in leadership meetings where you collaborate with other team members to address resident needs, plan events, and contribute to the achievement of broader business objectives. This full-time position operates primarily Monday through Friday with hours from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with some additional hours required for special events and holidays. RLC offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits for full-time employees, including a benefit stipend that can be applied toward health and dental insurance, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and more. Additional perks like paid time off and a 401(k) plan with employer match add to the appealing employment package. Joining RLC means becoming part of a purpose-driven organization where your leadership and servant heart make a meaningful difference every day.
