Job Requirements
- Possesses at least an 8th grade education
- Is sixteen years of age
- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and follow written/oral instructions
- Possesses sight/hearing senses or uses prosthetics to enable these senses
- Moves equipment and supplies weighing up to 25 lbs regularly
- Able and willing to work independently with flexibility and integrity
- Able to work harmoniously with team members, residents, guests, volunteers, government personnel, and the general public
- Able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes hostile people
- Commits to aligning behavior with ERS Core Values and Ways of Working

Job Duties
- Ensures that the dining room is set up according to ERS standards for meals
- Rolls silverware
- stocks cereal racks and re-stocks linens as directed
- Serves meals to the residents and their guests, providing exceptional customer service
- Clears dirty dishes from tables between courses and after meals
- Ensures all tables and chairs are cleaned after meal service and reset for the next meal
- Performs other cleaning duties including beverage stations, serving stations, salad bar, and vacuuming the dining room
- Prepares and delivers trays to residents as requested
- Assures that safety regulations are followed and reports any accidents or hazardous conditions
- Performs stock room functions including checking, putting away stock, and cleaning duties
