Job Duties

  • prepare excellent food and baked goods according to a set menu
  • generate a report to verify daily transactions and meal planning efforts
  • familiarize yourself with the meal components to guarantee their completeness
  • ensure that food is stored in a sanitary manner to prevent bacterial growth and foodborne illnesses
  • serve food to patrons following meal schedules and established departmental policies
  • use and maintain culinary devices, specifically blades
  • guarantee the quick preparation of a variety of food items and drinks
  • elevate the presentation of dishes and increase customer delight by incorporating garnishments
  • assist in the upkeep of cleanliness for refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking and serving appliances
  • ensure compliance with all food safety rules including sanitation, safe food handling, and proper storage
  • maintain conformity with dress code policies
  • coordinate menu preparation through communication with the manager
  • monitor and manage food temperature levels
  • uphold cleanliness standards in work and storage areas
  • sterilize work areas including steam tables, counters, and equipment
  • comply with general cleaning procedures such as sweeping, mopping, dishwashing
  • keep garbage collection site and kitchen floors clean and sanitary
  • perform alternate assignments as directed, including supporting other kitchen areas
