The role of Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living is a part-time position offering $19 per hour with no tips expected, focusing on providing outstanding dining experiences within an Assisted Living community. Scheduled hours are flexible, including evening shifts from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, Thursday, Friday, and multiple shifts on Wednesday and Friday through Monday, allowing employees to maintain work-life balance. This role requires a dedicated individual who is reliable, empathetic, and takes pride in delivering quality service.

As a Dining Room Server, you will be an integral part of the hospitality team, actively contributing to a welcoming dining atmosphere by providing attentive table service and assisting with meal service during special events. Collaboration with the Dining Room Coordinator and fellow servers ensures that every meal is an exceptional experience for residents. The position demands someone who flourishes in a fast-paced environment, embraces teamwork, and uses a growth mindset to consistently improve service standards. Job Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age
Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members
Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position
Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior restaurant server experience is preferred
Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community

Job Duties

Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience
Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy
Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready
Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community
Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal
