Job Description
Dial is a prominent establishment dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to senior residents. At Dial, the emphasis is placed on creating an environment where both employees and residents feel valued and appreciated. The company fosters a culture of respect, learning, and community connection, making it an ideal workplace for those who seek a meaningful career in senior living services. Dial prioritizes the happiness and well-being of their residents by emphasizing compassionate service, where each team member plays a key role in enriching the lives of those they serve.
This part-time position at Dial offers a unique opportunity to work in a restaurant-like dining setting within a senior living community. The role is perfect for individuals looking for steady hours and income without the uncertainties of tipping. Flexibility is important in this role, with expectations for occasional weekend and holiday shifts. The working schedule is favorable as no late nights are required, making it suitable for those seeking a balanced work-life routine.
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for serving residents meals and assisting throughout the dining experience, which is designed to promote comfort and enjoyment for seniors. The role goes beyond food service; it is about building relationships and improving the quality of life for residents by providing attentive service, addressing their preferences, and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The position requires a compassionate and patient individual who is passionate about working with older adults and contributing to a supportive community environment.
Employees enjoy a wide range of benefits, including paid time off (PTO) from day one, tuition assistance, and double pay for holiday shifts. The company also supports work-life balance and employee wellness through programs like birthday and anniversary PTO, referral bonuses, loyalty incentives, and a comprehensive employee recognition program. Additional perks include free meals during shifts, discounts through partners like Verizon and AT&T, and access to a pay advance program. These benefits show Dial's commitment to making its workplace rewarding and supportive for all team members.
Medical benefits are comprehensive, covering prescription drug insurance, dental, and vision care, along with basic term life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Financial security is enhanced through a 401(k) retirement plan and flexible spending accounts for dependent care, highlighting the company's focus on holistic employee well-being.
Working at Dial means being part of a team that not only cares for seniors but also values collaboration and continuous learning. The candidate will be expected to uphold confidentiality standards and adhere to all food handling and kitchen safety regulations, ensuring a safe and respectful environment. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand and move throughout the shift of 3 to 3.75 hours, reflecting the dynamic and engaging nature of the job.
This position is ideal for individuals who are attentive to detail, enthusiastic about helping others, and eager to grow in the food service and senior care industry. Previous experience in food service is preferred but not mandatory, as Dial values a willingness to learn and a positive attitude as much as technical skills. Most importantly, candidates should enjoy working with older adults and be dedicated to making a tangible impact on their lives.
