Job Description

Dial is a reputable senior living community dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for its residents through compassionate care and exceptional service. Operating in a setting that feels like home to many, Dial fosters a warm and supportive environment where teamwork and respect lie at the heart of every interaction. As a part of this establishment, employees have access to a collaborative and growth-oriented workplace that values their contributions and encourages continuous learning from seasoned professionals. At Dial, every resident is treated like family, and staff members take pride in making a tangible difference by not only adding years to lives but adding life to years, promoting happiness and well-being in every facet of daily living.

The PRN (Pro Re Nata or as needed) position at Dial offers a unique opportunity to work in a restaurant-style dining environment within the healthcare setting, specifically catering to senior residents. Unlike conventional restaurant roles, this position operates in a non-tipping, supportive environment designed for those seeking a balance of steady hours and reliable income. Flexibility is essential, as the role requires availability that can include occasional weekends and holidays, though notably, shifts avoid late-night hours which enhances work-life balance.

In this role, team members will be integral to the dining experience, ensuring every resident enjoys their meals with dignity and personal attention. Responsibilities involve serving meals, assisting residents with their dining needs, taking orders, and promoting a welcoming atmosphere. The environment encourages a high level of resident satisfaction supported through attentive service and respect for individual preferences, including knowledge of residents' likes and dislikes. Additionally, the role involves maintaining dining areas through tasks such as setting and resetting tables and ensuring that beverages and refreshments are readily available throughout meal times.

Dial offers a range of generous perks and benefits to attract and retain dedicated team members. These include paid time off starting on day one, double pay on holidays, birthday and anniversary PTO, tuition assistance for ongoing education, a referral bonus program, and loyalty incentives. Employees also benefit from a free meal during shifts—offering significant savings—and participate in an employee recognition program. Benefits extend to include medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic term life and AD&D coverage, a 401K savings plan, flexible spending accounts for dependent care, and discount programs through Verizon and AT&T. Additionally, there's access to a pay advance program to support financial flexibility.

Overall, this role is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, team-oriented, and motivated to contribute positively to the lives of senior residents within a structured and supportive dining service context. The position requires physical readiness to spend several hours on foot and a willingness to engage directly with residents while adhering to health and safety regulations. Whether you are looking to start or continue a career in food service within a healthcare-oriented setting, Dial provides a stable, rewarding, and respectful workplace environment that values your efforts and nurtures your professional growth.
