With a strong presence in the full-service restaurant industry, the company prides itself on maintaining high-performance standards and fostering a team environment where every member is empowered to succeed. The work culture emphasizes customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement to ensure each guest’s visit is memorable and enjoyable.
As the Dining Room Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day restaurant operations while championing a customer-centric approach. This position requires strong leadership skills to manage scheduling, team training, guest interaction, and product quality control. You will be responsible for coaching team members to achieve high levels of performance, managing bar and beverage costs, ensuring health and safety compliance, and effectively leading shifts in the restaurant. Initial training will be provided in Tyler, TX, ensuring you are well-prepared before transitioning to your assigned store. This role demands a hands-on approach coupled with strategic thinking to uphold excellent service standards that distinguish the dining experience.
In this managerial role, you will have direct oversight of the dining room staff, including responsibilities such as hiring, onboarding, and disciplining team members as delegated by the General Manager. You will also manage payroll records, maintain accurate employee status updates, and facilitate the rollout of new menus, products, and promotions. Proficiency in POS systems and restaurant software like Aloha, Microsoft Office, and Compeat is essential to streamline operations and provide effective team management. The job requires balancing operational tasks with leadership and communication, ensuring a clean, professional, and inclusive work environment for both employees and guests.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, has a passion for hospitality, and demonstrates an ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Physical stamina is important due to the demands of standing, walking, and moving throughout the restaurant for extended periods, including bending, lifting, and exposure to various temperature settings in kitchen and bar areas. The successful candidate will embody the company's values by maintaining high standards of service, quality, and safety while providing an outstanding guest experience. The role typically requires working 50-55 hours per week, including weekends and holiday shifts, reflecting the commitment needed to lead in this dynamic environment. Through a rewarding salary, bonus structure, and advancement opportunities, this position offers both a challenging and fulfilling career path in restaurant management.
