Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- previous leadership experience in hospitality preferred
- must maintain food server permit as required
- able to read, write, and communicate in English at an eighth grade proficiency or higher
- physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
- capable of assisting residents with mobility and after falls
- must be criminally cleared
- good physical and mental health verified by a health screening within 6 months prior or 7 days after employment
- must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at the time of health screening
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred
- knowledge of care and supervision requirements appropriate to senior residents
- ability to communicate fluently in English at a minimum eighth grade proficiency
- food server permit as required by the county
- positive and energetic attitude
- ability to assist residents with mobility
- physical capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Keep front of house front of mind
- be a host with the most by greeting residents and fostering a welcoming dining atmosphere
- be a peppy prepper by preparing tables, salads, and silverware for meal service
- be a titan of tidiness by bussing tables and sweeping floors
- communicate with supervisors and wellness staff when observing poor dietary habits or changes in appetite
- assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and provide support after falls
- maintain impeccable service standards in the dining room
