The role of Dining Room Manager at Regency Oaks is a pivotal position that ensures the dining experiences of residents are memorable and managed with the highest standards. This role is responsible for overseeing all dining operations, including the coordination, appearance, and maintenance of the dining areas and waitress stations. The Dining Room Manager leads the dining room staff across multiple shifts, ensuring courteous and efficient service is delivered consistently. They supervise all aspects of dining room management, from staffing and scheduling to training, orientation, counseling, and evaluation of personnel. Additionally, the manager upholds safety, health, and sanitation standards, ensuring all practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations. They promote teamwork within the department and with other departments to guarantee smooth operations and an exceptional quality of service.
This position operates Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm and offers a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience in front of the house operations within restaurant hotel club or similar institution
- Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and social skills
- Successful background screening through AHCA
- Availability to work Tue-Sat from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm

Job Duties
- Supervises the appearance of dining room tables including table linens napkins silverware table setup centerpieces etc
- Supervises Dining Room personnel on all shifts staffing scheduling counseling orientation and evaluation of Dining Room Staff
- Selects trains evaluates and recommends or carries out discipline of all Dining Room personnel
- Maintains pertinent and appropriate records reports files schedules and studies ensuring the posted work schedule meets all staffing labor and budget guidelines
- Ensures that all policies and procedures related to safety and health are followed including but not limited to MSDS information safe work practices infection control and universal precautions
- Promotes teamwork within the department and between departments to ensure smooth operations and quality service
- Assists in assuring staff education is provided to dining room personnel in accordance with the staff education plan and provides on the job training for dining room personnel
- Ensures that dining room service complies with all local federal and state regulations in relation to service sanitation and personnel
- Participates in cost control measures
