With a strategic focus on career advancement and internal growth, Belmont Village provides various opportunities for employees to develop their skills and advance within the organization.

The role of Dining Room Coordinator at Belmont Village Senior Living is a hands-on supervisory position pivotal to ensuring outstanding dining experiences for residents and guests alike. Working within the community’s on-site restaurant, the Dining Room Coordinator oversees all dining room operations including the management, hiring, training, and supervision of restaurant servers. This role requires a blend of leadership skills and direct involvement in meal service, special events, and room service delivery as needed.

The Dining Room Coordinator plays a vital part in cultivating a welcoming and hospitable environment by building lasting relationships with residents and visitors in the restaurant-style dining rooms. Supported by an experienced Chef Manager, the coordinator helps foster a culture of collaboration and excellence in dining services and hospitality. This position demands not only operational oversight but also active participation in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in dining areas such as the Bistro and Dining Room.

Collaboration is key in this role, involving coordination with various departments including Sales and Marketing, Activities, and community leadership to plan and execute special events that enhance the community experience. The coordinator also manages guest seating logistics, addresses resident feedback with professionalism and care, and assists in scheduling and training front of house staff while upholding safety protocols and food handling standards.

The work schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the expectation of flexibility to meet the needs of the dining program. This role is ideal for a candidate passionate about leadership, learning, and inspiring teams in a service-oriented environment. The Dining Room Coordinator position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the lives of seniors while advancing a career within a respected and supportive organization.
