Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification required
  • Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) certification preferred
  • CSS Badge preferred
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary workplace language
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and push/pull equipment up to 250 lbs
  • Good communication and computational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and customer relations experience
  • Ability to operate Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS
  • Commitment to company grooming and attendance standards
  • Adherence to safety, security policies, and cash handling procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of food service experience
  • 1-2 years of management or supervisory experience
  • Experience with Micros POS system
  • Culinary, sales, and service background
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent leadership and customer relations skills
  • Detail oriented with outstanding organizational proficiency
  • Knowledgeable about table and bar service
  • Knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and flavor profiles
  • Thorough knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and preparation
  • Ability to conduct meetings and maintain communication between staff and management

Job Duties

  • Extend a warm and gracious greeting to every guest in a sophisticated and amiable manner
  • Exhibit a high level of proficiency in showcasing knowledge about all food and beverage menu items including ingredients and preparation
  • Deliver exceptional professionalism in attending to guests needs with courtesy and customer service excellence
  • Demonstrate efficiency and leadership in executing refined steps of service
  • Commit to ongoing personal and professional development
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed
  • Verify customers identification and confirm legal drinking age
  • Prevent service to minors and intoxicated persons
  • Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
  • Maintain cleanliness of restaurant area including waste disposal and cleaning
  • Participate in deep cleaning of the outlet
  • Operate cash register/POS and handle payments accurately
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
