Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
- Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification required
- Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) certification preferred
- CSS Badge preferred
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary workplace language
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and push/pull equipment up to 250 lbs
- Good communication and computational skills
- Demonstrated leadership and customer relations experience
- Ability to operate Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS
- Commitment to company grooming and attendance standards
- Adherence to safety, security policies, and cash handling procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of food service experience
- 1-2 years of management or supervisory experience
- Experience with Micros POS system
- Culinary, sales, and service background
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent leadership and customer relations skills
- Detail oriented with outstanding organizational proficiency
- Knowledgeable about table and bar service
- Knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and flavor profiles
- Thorough knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and preparation
- Ability to conduct meetings and maintain communication between staff and management
Job Duties
- Extend a warm and gracious greeting to every guest in a sophisticated and amiable manner
- Exhibit a high level of proficiency in showcasing knowledge about all food and beverage menu items including ingredients and preparation
- Deliver exceptional professionalism in attending to guests needs with courtesy and customer service excellence
- Demonstrate efficiency and leadership in executing refined steps of service
- Commit to ongoing personal and professional development
- Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed
- Verify customers identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Prevent service to minors and intoxicated persons
- Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
- Maintain cleanliness of restaurant area including waste disposal and cleaning
- Participate in deep cleaning of the outlet
- Operate cash register/POS and handle payments accurately
- Perform all other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
