The role of Dining Room Attendant at Hyatt Vacation Club is an essential position centered around enhancing the guest dining experience through attentive service and meticulous care of the dining environment. This role requires candidates to be available primarily for 1st and 2nd shifts including weekends and holidays, reflecting the nature of hospitality service which demands flexibility and responsiveness. Dining Room Attendants are responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining area to ensure each guest’s visit is comfortable and enjoyable. Duties include clearing and cleaning tables promptly after guests leave, resetting tables for new guests, and assisting servers by refilling water glasses, delivering food, and removing service items. Additionally, attendants restock utensils, napkins, condiments, and other essentials to maintain a seamless dining experience. The role also involves moving tables and chairs as necessary to accommodate guest groups and large parties, as well as performing routine cleaning tasks like sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and wiping tables and chairs.
Beyond the physical responsibilities, Dining Room Attendants are expected to embody the standards of guest experience at HVC by warmly welcoming and greeting guests, anticipating their needs, and responding to requests promptly and professionally. Interaction with colleagues and guests should always be courteous and supportive, contributing positively toward team goals. Job Qualifications
