We are currently seeking a dynamic and flexible Restaurant General Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced customer service environment, eager to manage both the financial and operational aspects of a high-volume restaurant within our hotel. As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing restaurant operations to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will lead recruitment, hiring, and training efforts to build a skilled, motivated staff who can deliver top-tier service. In addition, it is essential to guarantee full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Your leadership will be instrumental in driving marketing strategies and promotional activities, including creative community events that enhance the restaurant's profile and customer engagement. Developing a comprehensive business plan based on thorough market analysis, competitor evaluation, sales revenue forecasts, and expense control will be part of your responsibilities. Managing inventory efficiently, planning for accurate forecasting of food and dining product needs, and maintaining operational budgets will also be crucial to the restaurant’s success.

This role requires a candidate with 2-3 years of managerial experience in the food service industry, with proven capabilities in staff management, budget oversight, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office, is highly desirable. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • 2-3 years of managerial experience in the restaurant or food service industry
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and inventory
  • Experience in recruiting, hiring, and training staff
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal restaurant regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, strongly desired
  • Prior food service experience managing inventory levels, budgets, and operating costs is required
  • This position requires 2-3 years of previous experience managing a staff or relevant role, ideally in the restaurant industry
  • Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED

Job Duties

  • Responsible for marketing direction and creative promotions and community events
  • Develop a clear plan for the restaurant that takes into account the market, local competitors, sales revenue, and expenses
  • Assure all products and services are consistent with company quality standards
  • Deliver excellent quality of visitor satisfaction when dining in the restaurant
  • Manage appropriate inventory levels of food and dining products and plan accurately for forecasted sales trends
