The Dining Host role at Main Event is essential in shaping the guest dining experience by ensuring that every visitor feels welcomed and well taken care of. As a Dining Host, you will serve as the first point of contact for guests arriving at the dining area, responsible for greeting, seating, and managing the flow of guests efficiently. This role involves clear and constant communication with servers, server assistants, and management to maintain smooth operations and a pleasant environment in both the dining room and bar areas. The Dining Host also upholds the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring a safe and comfortable setting for all patrons. Employment is offered as part-time or full-time, with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $7.25 to $12. Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required

Job Duties

Upholding cleanliness and safety standards
welcoming and greeting all dining guests while gathering details about their visit
performing table management and keeping waitlist updated
seating guests or handing them off to another host
communicating with servers and guests to ensure a seamless experience
thanking guests and welcoming them back
performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties
