The Dining Host role at Main Event is an essential position within the dining room and bar area, designed to enhance the overall guest experience. This role requires individuals who are passionate about customer service, with a genuine interest in hospitality and guest satisfaction. Dining Hosts serve as the first point of contact for guests, greeting and seating them in a warm and friendly manner. They maintain constant communication with servers, server assistants, and management to ensure seamless service flow. Key responsibilities include managing the waitlist, performing opening, mid-day, and closing duties, and upholding safety and sanitation standards rigorously. This role demands multitasking ability, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is guest-focused, attentive to detail, and enjoys working as part of a team.

This is a part-time to full-time position with a salary range starting from $7.25 up to $13.50 per hour, depending on experience and location. Job Duties

  • upholding cleanliness and safety standards
  • welcome and greet all dining guests while gathering details about their visit
